At Bowtie, the Product Management team drives the collaboration between engineering, design, growth and insurance veterans who are motivated to “make insurance good again”. For this role, the start date and schedule are flexible. It can be for part-time, or for full-time during summer 2019 (starting May or June).

Responsibilities

  • Drive impactful discussions with all teams. You will partner with platform and engineering, and work cross-functionally with all areas of the company including: design, marketing, operations, finance, compliance and risk to identify product opportunities and take them to market.
  • Bring real impact to business decisions. You will be responsible for developing a product growth strategy including a comprehensive analysis of customers, competitive landscape, product opportunities, and technical challenges.
  • Drive real changes by understanding our customers. You will jump into the data surrounding growth-driven metrics, understand our customers, and bridge feedback-loop between our customers and internal teams.
  • Run new experiments. You will understand and optimize user onboarding, engagement, and retention. You will run experiments and iterate on key growth funnels, and evaluate opportunities for referral and virality.

Requirements

  • Third or forth-year university student. Your faculty doesn‘t matter.
  • Hungry and entrepreneurial. You’re excited to wear many hats, get hands dirty and do whatever is necessary to ensure results and success.
  • Passionate about great designs and genuinely curious about technology. You‘re excited about building an online experience which customers love. You have an opinion on what works, what doesn’t and why.
  • Impatient, but introspective and optimistic. You‘re not reactionary. You're disciplined in learning about what worked and what didn't. You lead discussions and drive forward with next steps. You keep looking for ways to self-learn.
  • Strong with analytical and communication skills. You have a strong ability to identify and solve ambiguous problems and work well with cross-functional teams. You have proven to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.
