1. What is the relationship between Bowtie & JP Health and Bowtie Life Insurance Company Limited?

Bowtie & JP Health and Bowtie Life Insurance Company Limited are separate entities, and the nature of Bowtie & JP Health is that of any other clinic or hospital.

2. If I complete a medical service at Bowtie & JP Health, will Bowtie & JP Health share these results with Bowtie Life Insurance Company Limited? Will the results affect the premium or underwriting result of the existing Bowtie policies?

Bowtie & JP Health will not proactively share your personal information or medical results with Bowtie Life Insurance Company Limited. Additionally, Bowtie Life Insurance Company Limited will not adjust the policy underwriting results due to any changes in the insured’s health after the policy is in effect.

Therefore, if the insured receives any medical service from Bowtie & JP Health after the policy becomes effective, even if there are any new illnesses/ symptoms identified, it won’t affect the policy premium rate or underwriting result.

3. Do I need to declare my examination/ consultation result with Bowtie Life Insurance Company Limited?

If your policy is in effect and a new illness/ symptom is identified, you are not required to declare these medical findings.

If a known pre-existing condition is identified as having been present at the time of the insurance application and was not disclosed, these non-disclosures may affect the validity of the policy. We would highly recommend that policyholders consult one of our Customer Service Officers for further assistance.

If you are in the process of submitting an application for a new policy, the abnormal/ inconclusive findings of your examination/ consultation results should be disclosed to insurers to give them a clearer understanding of your latest health conditions, based on the underwriting requirements.

4. If I need to make a claim, will Bowtie & JP Health help to inform Bowtie Life Insurance Company Limited for processing the claim request?

No, just like any other clinic or hospital, Bowtie & JP health is a separate entity. If you need to file a claim, please follow the Bowtie Life Insurance Company Limited claims procedure, by uploading the claim form completed by the doctor, medical receipts issued by doctor / hospital and other relevant medical documents (such as examination report) through your Bowtie Customer Portal.

Should Bowtie Life Insurance Company Limited require any additional information for claims assessment, we may apply the medical record from Bowtie & JP Health with the consent provided by the policyholder.

2 The Offer is available to selected Bowtie VHIS insured only and not transferable.
3 The Offer is subject to Bowtie & JP Health’s availability on a first come, first served basis.
4 Bowtie & JP Health accepts e-payment only (Visa, Mastercard, UnionPay, AlipayHK and WeChat Pay HK).
5 Bowtie is not the supplier of the Offer and makes no representation or guarantee as to the quality of the Offer and is not responsible for any matter relating to the Offer. Bowtie & JP Health is the supplier of the Offer and is responsible for all issues on the provision, obligations and disputes relating to the Offer. Please contact the supplier or third party directly for any queries.
6 All dates and times related to health services, including but not limited to the promotion period, shall be conclusive as to the date and time relevant to the Bowtie.
7 The Offer is non-exchangeable and non-refundable. The Offer cannot be used in conjunction with other promotional offers.
8 Bowtie and Bowtie & JP Health reserve the right to substitute the Offer (or part of the Offer) with an alternative gift with the equal monetary value and/or specification.
