HONG KONG, 20 September, 2019 – The virtual insurer, Bowtie Life Insurance Company Limited (Bowtie) uncovered fraudulent websites “www.zzgeter888.com” and “www.sittc.net/ssjzd4.html” which purport to represent Bowtie with unauthorised use of Bowtie’s website content to seize personal information.
Bowtie stresses that the company has no affiliation with these websites and has reported the incidents to the police and the Insurance Authority. Bowtie’s only legitimate official website address is “www.bowtie.com.hk” and the company will not request for any unnecessary information from customers. Anyone who suspects their personal information has been seized illegally should report the case to the police immediately.
