Coverage of Cancer Insurance

As a product specifically designed to provide coverage for cancer, cancer insurances provide comprehensive coverage. In addition to covering diagnosis costs, subsequent items such as chemotherapy, targeted therapy, and rehabilitation treatment are also included in cancer insurance coverage.

General Coverage of Cancer Insurance

Cancer insurance is a plan specifically designed for cancer treatment, so the coverage is comprehensive, ranging from diagnosis, treatment to rehabilitation.

🩺Cancer Diagnosis Examinations

  • Examinations for the purpose of diagnosing cancer
    • Excludes regular physical examinations or preventive tests, as the purpose is not to diagnose cancer
    • Excludes negative results of the examination, as the insured did not have cancer
  • Examinations for determining treatment drugs (e.g. some drugs are only suitable for designated genetic mutations of cancer)
  • Examinations for monitoring treatment/rehabilitation

💊Cancer Treatment (For the purpose of treatment)

  • Surgery
  • Chemotherapy
  • Radiation Therapy
  • Targeted Therapy
  • Immunotherapy
  • Proton Therapy
  • Other treatments (including new treatments that have emerged due to breakthroughs or updates in medical technology)

🛌🏻Palliative Care (For the purpose of relieving symptoms)
👨‍⚕️Facial/chest reconstruction surgery
🦽Assisted treatments (such as traditional Chinese medicine/physiotherapy/psychological therapy)

In addition to the above cancer treatment items, some cancer insurance products also cover other related expenses such as transportation costs, wigs, and global emergency support.

However, please note that the premium of the product may increase as the coverage expands or the relevant limits increase.
