The Hong Kong Government has activated the Emergency Response Level regarding the development of COVID-19. All suspected or confirmed cases arriving at Gleneagles would be transferred to designated public hospitals for further clinical management.
Gleneagles Hospital requires all inpatients to submit a valid and negative COVID-19 test report before admission. The pre-admission testing is required to be conducted within 48 hours before admission and the result is regarded as valid for 48 hours from the time of specimen collection.
If the above report is not available, the patient is required to undergo a deep throat saliva RT-PCR test for COVID-19 at the “Sample Collection Booth” located outside the 24-hour Outpatient and Emergency Department at Gleneagles Hospital on the day before admission.
All visitors are required to submit a “valid negative COVID-19 test report” from one of the authorised external laboratories or institutions and register before entering the ward. People who have been tested positive for COVID-19 by either Rapid Antigen Test or RT-PCR are not allowed for admission or visiting.
Visitors need to undergo temperature screening at the entrance upon arrival. Patients and visitors entering the hospital are required to register their personal information for contact tracing purposes.
Each inpatient is limited to 2 visitors, and they are required to have prior registration for visiting privileges and fill in a Health Declaration form before entering the hospital.
Gleneagles provides outpatient and emergency services, inpatient services and specialist outpatient services. Paediatric, cardiology and eye specialists are available at their specialist outpatient clinics. This hospital also provides cancer, diagnostic and obstetrics services.
Inpatient
Clinic staff would reserve rooms for all inpatients before admission, and the Gleneagles Hospital will offer a free advisory to patients too.
Gleneagles also provides fixed-price and all-inclusive medical packages in various specialities.
Outpatient
Gleneagle Hospital is the first and only private hospital that provides 24-hour outpatient and emergency medical services. 24-hour outpatient and emergency medical services are equipped with a standard resuscitation room, a negative-pressure room, observation beds, X-ray service and a triage zone for suspected infectious patients.
For children who need medical services, Paediatric services and a paediatric evening clinic are also available at Gleneagles Hospital.

Opening time
Due to COVID-19, the night-time outpatient and emergency service from 11:00 pm to 8:00 am will be suspended from 14 February (Monday) until further notice. The last consultation registration is at 10:30pm.

2. How to enjoy the shuttle bus service?
Gleneagles Hospital Hong Kong provides a free shuttle bus service that runs between MTR Wong Chuk Hang Station (Opposite to Exit A, G/F) and the hospital (main entrance).
Visitors may take Exit A (A1 or A2) from MTR Wong Chuk Hang Station, going down to the ground floor either by staircase or the escalator. The shuttle bus stop is just on the opposite side of the road on the ground floor.
