Bowtie Life Insurance Company Limited (Bowtie) uncovered fraudulent Facebook page “虛擬保險” which purports to represent Bowtie with unauthorised use of Bowtie’s content.
Bowtie clarifies that the company has no affiliation with the Facebook page, and Bowtie’s only legitimate official Facebook Page is “Bowtie(@bowtiehongkong)“. Bowtie has reported the incident to the police and the Insurance Authority. Bowtie reserves the right to proceed legal action against any unofficial pages.
Anyone who concerns that they may have disclosed their personal information or have conducted any transactions through such Facebook page, they should immediately contact the Police.
